The department said the officers’ work continues after the school year ends.

In June each year, they lead a two-week youth academy, followed by a week of mentorship at the Police And Children Together - PACT Collinsville camp.

“Their dedication to the youth of our community truly is a year-round endeavor, and we could not be more proud of their efforts,” the department said.

“Congratulations and thank you, Cortney, Dylan, and Greg.”
