EDWARDSVILLE/CARROLLTON - Callie Field arrived at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville this year with a sprinting résumé that includes multiple school records and state meet finishes.

Field is a freshman on scholarship with the SIUE track and field team. She is from Carrollton and attended Carrollton High School, where she competed in track and field from 2022-25 and cross country from 2023-24.

At Carrollton, Field set school records in the 100 meters (12.15), 200 (26.24), and 400 (1:03.02). She also holds the Greene County record in the 100 (13.14) and 200 (27.74).

Field’s background also includes academic honors. She was named the salutatorian and was part of the National Honor Society.

In 2025, Field placed eighth in the 100 and ninth in the 200 at the state championships.
