CENTRALIA — The Belleville West Maroons struggled in their matchup against Chicago Marist on Tuesday at the 83rd annual Centralia Holiday Tournament, falling 75-36.

Marist quickly established dominance, opening the game with a 25-10 lead. The momentum continued in the second quarter as Marist limited Belleville West to just three points, taking a 41-13 advantage into halftime.
The third quarter saw Marist maintain their pressure, extending the lead to 69-23 heading into the final period. A running clock was implemented in the fourth quarter, during which Belleville West outscored Marist 13-5.
Belleville West’s top scorer was TJ Cason with 14 points.
For Marist, Charles Barnes led with 16 points, followed closely by Anthony Vassilakis with 14.
