CHAMPAIGN –#13 Illinois fell to #23 Nebraska, 83-80, on a last-second 3-pointer in its Big Ten home opener at State Farm Center on Saturday afternoon.

Kylan Boswell finished with a team-high 20 points after tallying 12 points during the first period of play. Boswell grabbed three rebounds, including two on the offensive glass, while dishing out three assists.

Andrej Stojakovic scored 12 of his 19 points in the second half while grabbing 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. He tacked on an assist and a block.

Keaton Wagler collected 19 points, a career-high 10 assists, one block, and one steal en route to his first-career double-double.

#13 Illinois' next contest sees the Fighting Illini head to St. Louis on Dec. 22 for their annual McBride Homes Braggin' Rights game against Missouri. The Illini will square off with the Tigers at Enterprise Center at 7 p.m. CT on FS1.
