Nyanna M. Burnett, 18, of Alton, and Kameron N. Graham, 27, of Saint Ann, Mo., were both charged on June 17, 2026 with one count each of aggravated battery (both Class 3 felonies) and mob action (both Class 4 felonies). Graham faces additional charges, including a Class 4 felony count of aggravated unlawful possession of weapons and a Class A misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
On June 16, 2026, the two allegedly acted together and knowingly struck a pregnant victim without legal justification. Graham also allegedly carried a 9mm handgun in a motor vehicle while engaged in a misdemeanor violation of the Cannabis Control Act on the same date.
The Alton Police Department presented both cases against Burnett and Graham. Both were ordered released from custody pending trial, with additional conditions imposed on their release.
Under the conditions of their release, Burnett and Graham have been ordered to have no contact with the victim in this case and remain at least 500 feet away from them at all times. Graham was also ordered to surrender the firearm from his possession while on pretrial release.
All individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
