
JERSEYVILLE - Connor Talley, a Jersey Community High School student in the class of 2026, has been selected to play in the Illinois Shriners All-Star Football Game at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Tucci Stadium in Bloomington, Illinois.

Talley will represent Team Blue in the All-Star Game. He is committed to play at Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois, in the fall of 2026.
At Jersey Community High School, Talley earned recognition as Mr. Panther, Best Defensive Lineman, and Best Offensive Lineman.
Talley also posted outstanding results for the Panthers in boys' track and field in spring 2026, competing in the shot put.
At the Mississippi Valley Conference meet, he placed second in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 47 feet, 7.75 inches. He also finished eighth at the prestigious Granite City Invite, which featured 12 teams, with a toss of 42-5.5.
Talley recorded shot put victories at the Jersey Quad, which included Bunker Hill, Civic Memorial, and Greenfield-Northwestern, with a throw of 45-0.2.5, and at the Mascoutah Quad with a mark of 42-0. He also placed 13th at the Triad Sectional with a throw of 44-3.25.
