JERSEYVILLE - The Jersey County Farmers & Artisan Market will continue its season from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at City Center Plaza, 403 N. State St. in Jerseyville, with live music by Carl Mager, grilling nights, and local vendors offering produce, baked goods, crafts, and other items.
The market, run by the Jersey County Business Association in partnership with the City of Jerseyville, is scheduled from June 2 through Sept. 1, 2026, on Tuesdays, except July 14, 2026, because of the fair parade. Organizers said about 15 to 20 local vendors take part each week.

Carl Mager will perform country-bluegrass music from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on June 16. Organizers also said grilling nights with the Jersey County Farm Bureau and KC Hall are planned for June 16, July 7, Aug. 11, and Aug. 25.
Honey, produce, lemonade, flowers, and other goods will be available, Katie Shires, the Jersey County Business Association’s chamber director and farmers and artisans market manager, said. She added that the market gives local entrepreneurs and vendors a chance to showcase their offerings.
“It is definitely great having an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and vendors to show what they offer our community,” Shires said.
Shires said the market has returning seasonal vendors selling honey, jams, and bread, while also adding new offerings.
“We are very lucky to have regular seasonal vendors selling honey, jams, and bread come out year after year, but every year something new comes in, and we grow even more. We may be a small market, but we offer a good variety of goods,” she said.
The downtown location at City Center Plaza in Jerseyville also offers access to the city’s updated park amenities, including a free splash pad, pickleball courts, and a fitness center, according to market information. Shires said the event is perfect for families with all its various offerings.
“Live music and grilling are everyone’s favorites, and you can have them both in one night at the Jersey Farmers Market,” Shires said.
Shoppers may bring lawn chairs for the music because seating in the pavilion is limited.
