ST. PETERS, Mo. - Ryan Lowis had a hit and two RBIs for Alton Post 126, while three pitchers combined to scatter eight hits and strike out 15 batters total, as the Legionnaires won their fourth straight game, 3-0 over St. Peters, Mo. Post 313 in a game played Wednesday night, June 10, 2026, in St. Charles County.
Alton is now 5-2 on the season, as the Legionnaires have played well throughout the young summer campaign.

Alton scored all three of their runs in the top of the third inning, holding St. Peters to their eight hits, in taking the shutout win.
Lowis had one of only four Alton hits in the game, but had both of the team's RBIs on the night. John Kunz, Jerald Downs, and Dylan Vandiver had the other Legionnaires' hits. John Kudros started on the mound, and went for two innings, allowing no runs on four hits, walking none and striking out two, Tate Powell went for the middle three innings, and picked up the win, giving up no runs on two hits, walking none and fanning seven, and Lowis went the final two innings, allowing just two hits while walking one and striking out six.
Alton returns home to Lloyd Hopkins Field in Gordon Moore Park on Thursday for an unusual doubleheader, meeting Festus, Mo. Post 253 at 5:30 p.m., then going against Eureka, Mo. Post 177 at 8 p.m.
The Legionnaires then play in a tournament game on Saturday against Manchester, Mo. Post 208 in Ballwin, Mo., in west St. Louis County, with a start time of 1 p.m., then meet an opponent to be determined Sunday at 10 a.m.
