
ST. LOUIS COUNTY - St. Louis County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man whose partial human remains were found in South St. Louis County in 2021, authorities said Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after an artist’s rendering of the deceased was completed.

The remains were discovered Nov. 27, 2021, near Green Park Road and Union Road, according to the St. Louis County Police Bureau of Crimes Against Persons. On Tuesday, police said the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office, with assistance from Ramapo College of New Jersey’s IGG Center, completed an artist’s rendering of what the deceased male may have looked like.
Police said DNA testing has been conducted, but no matches have emerged.
“We are currently seeking any assistance from the public and media to help identify the deceased male and hopefully bring closure to a family,” authorities said in the release.
According to previously released information, officers from the South County Precinct responded at about 3:38 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2021, to a call for service for partial human remains found near Green Park Road and Union Road. Arriving officers located partial human remains, police said.
Anyone who believes they can identify the victim should call investigators at 314-615-5400. Police previously said anyone with information regarding the incident could contact the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
