By afternoon, the day turns hot and very humid. Temperatures climb to a high near 89, and it could feel as warm as 99 at times. Winds stay out of the southwest around 8 mph, with gusts up to 18 mph. Rain chances taper off after the morning, so the second half of the day looks mainly dry, but it will be sticky outside.

Tuesday evening stays warm with a mix of clouds and quieter weather. The Heat Advisory kicks in at noon and remains in effect until 10 p.m. for Madison County and nearby areas, with heat index values up to 108 possible. Overnight, skies turn partly cloudy and humid with a low around 75. A light south-southwest breeze will continue, and rain chances drop to near zero.

Allergy levels look mixed Tuesday. Tree pollen is high, grass pollen is moderate, and mold is low.

Wednesday looks hotter, with a high near 94 and a low around 75. Expect mostly sunny skies and another humid day, with just a slight chance of a stray evening thunderstorm.
