ROXANA — Roxana eliminated Carlinville from the IHSA Class 2A Litchfield Regional with a 15-0 win on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, scoring 10 runs in the first inning and advancing to Saturday’s final against host Litchfield.

Roxana added three runs in the second inning and one run each in the third and fourth to finish the regional semifinal.

The Shells improved to 23-8 with the win, while Carlinville’s season ended at 8-17.

Max Autery had three hits and six RBI to pace the Shells, and Sean Maberry had three hits and two RBIs. Dalton Carriker had two hits and two RBI, pitched a complete game, and struck out seven.

Noah Convery had Carlinville’s only hit. Gus Gibbs struck out two for the Cavaliers.

Roxana will play Litchfield in Saturday’s final after the Purple Panthers defeated Virden North Mac 4-3 in the second semifinal on Wednesday.
