HARDIN — Carrollton edged Marissa-Coulterville 6-5 on Tuesday night, May 27, 2026, at Calhoun High School in the 1A girls sectional semifinals, earning a spot in the Friday, May 29, 2026, sectional championship game.

With the win, Carrollton advanced to the 4:30 p.m. sectional title matchup Friday against the winner of Calhoun and Okawville. Calhoun is scheduled to meet Okawville at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Tuesday’s victory marked Carrollton’s 20th win of the season. The Hawks’ record now stands at 20-11-1.

Brookelyn Eilerman earned the win in the circle for Carrollton, allowing eight hits and recording three strikeouts. Eilerman also led the Hawks at the plate with two hits, including a home run and a double.

Collins Newton went 2 for 4 with an RBI, while Josie Mann was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Kadyn Lake also doubled for Carrollton.
