BUNKER HILL - The Bunker Hill Minutemen fell at home 4-2 to the Okawville Rockets in an IHSA Class 1A regional baseball play-in game on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The Rockets used early scoring and a steady pitching effort to advance.

Okawville took the lead in the first inning when Clay Maynard doubled to score a run. Bunker Hill answered in the bottom half of the inning on Brennan Fulton’s single down the right-field line, tying the game at 1-1.
The Rockets moved back in front in the third. Maynard doubled to center field for a run, and Bunker Hill committed an error that brought home another run, giving Okawville a 3-1 advantage.
Fulton, a junior, started for the Minutemen and went the distance. The right-hander allowed seven hits and four runs, one earned, over seven innings. He struck out six and did not issue a walk. Last week, Fulton recorded his 100th career strikeout against Morrisonville.
At the plate, Fulton went 2-for-4 and drove in both of Bunker Hill’s runs. He and Cameron Watkins each had two hits for the Minutemen, and Corbin Carlson stole two bases.
Maynard started for Okawville and allowed four hits and two runs over seven innings. He struck out four and walked two. Rigden Senior led the Rockets with three hits in three at-bats. Braylen Turner and Clay Maynard each drove in one run.
