Planned activities include bounce houses, bubbles and balloons. Attendees are also encouraged to bring cameras, with the library noting that “rumor has it” some of the park’s “largest prehistoric residents” have been spotted near the pavilion for face-to-face encounters.

As an added incentive, the library said any attendee who shows their Summer Reading Challenge registration can receive free ice cream for breakfast.

To reduce wait times, the library encouraged participants to pre-register on the Beanstack app or sign up on-site with library staff.
