EDWARDSVILLE - Edwardsville High School (EHS) has been recognized with multiple nominations for the prestigious Ken Page Awards, celebrating excellence in high school musical theatre across the region.

EHS received nominations for its production of 9 to 5: The Musical, directed by Ashley Melton. The nominations highlight both individual and group achievements across several categories:

  • Outstanding Leading Actress — Gracie Cook
  • Outstanding Leading Actress — Ella Carter
  • Outstanding Leading Actress — MaKenzie Tarr
  • Outstanding Ensemble
  • Outstanding Technical Execution — Jonah Sheckler
  • Outstanding Pit Orchestra — Cathy Vano
  • Outstanding Costume Design — Jen Blum Tatara
  • Outstanding Music Direction — Emily Ottwein

The Ken Page Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

In addition to the nominations, several EHS students will be featured in the ceremony. Liv Warner and Mark Hill will perform in the opening number, while all three nominated leading actresses—Gracie Cook, Ella Carter, and MaKenzie Tarr—will be showcased as soloists throughout the evening.

The Ken Page Awards serve as the regional qualifier for the nationally recognized Jimmy Awards, held at the Minskoff Theatre. All three EHS leading actress nominees are currently in contention to represent the region on the national stage in New York City.

Tickets for community members will be available for purchase beginning May 1 at 10 a.m. through MetroTix.
