
COLLINSVILLE - Marley Fox struck out six in throwing a four-inning no-hitter, while Brooke Burris had three hits and two RBIs as Edwardsville successfully ended their road swing with a 19-0 win over Collinsville in a Southwestern Conference game Thursday afternoon, April 30, 2026, at the Collinsville Sports Complex.
The Tigers concluded their road swing 6-1, the only loss to East Moline United ending a 13-game winning streak, but since then, Edwardsville has won three straight, and has won 16 of their last 17 games, and are comfortably in first place in the Southwestern Conference at 9-0, two games up on second-place Belleville East, three games up in the win column.

Burris singled to lead off the game, went to third on a wild pitch, and scored when Lily Stone reached on a dropped third strike, ruled a passed ball, to make it 1-0 for the Tigers. Maksine Straub's sacrifice fly to center scored Stone, who stole second, and went to third when the catcher's throw got away, to double the lead to 2-0.
The Tigers scored twice more in the second. Lily Maxwell started it with a base hit, advanced to second on a groundout, and scored on Audrey De La Torre Cruz's RBI single to left to make it 3-0. Amelia Wilfong successfully sacrificed De La Torre Cruz to second, kept running and took third, then scored when the catcher's throw got away to make it 4-0. Burris singled, but was stranded as the inning ended.
Stone started the third by reaching on an error by the shortstop, and went to third on a single by Straub, both runners scoring on a double to center by Maggie Bray to make the score 6-0, with Bray going to third on a base hit by Maxwell, and Fox helping herself with a sacrifice fly to center to score Bray and advance Maxwell to second, making it 7-0. Back-to-back singles by De La Torre Cruz and Wilfong scored Maxwell, a Burris triple scored De La Torre Cruz and Wilfong, and an RBI single by Sophie Antonini scored Burris to make it 11-0.



Savanna Lewis started the Edwardsville fourth with a base hit, and Maxwell walked. Fox then hit an RBI single to left to score Lewis and make it 12-0. After a strikeout, Wilfong singled home two runs, Marissa Wiley tripled home Wilfong, Emily Grandone singled home Wiley, with Grandone going to second on the throw to the plate, Remi Werden singled home Grandone, and Straub singled in Werden to make it 19-0.
All the while, Fox retired the first seven Kahok hitters before allowing two walks in the third, but that would be as far as Collinsville got, as Fox retired the side in order in the fourth to end the game in favor of the Tigers 19-0, due to the 15-run rule.
Burris led the Tigers with three hits and two RBIs, while Wilfong had two hits and drove home four runs, Straub had two hits and two RBIs, De La Torre Cruz had two hits and an RBI, Maxwell came up with two hits, Bray and Fox each had a hit and two RBIs, Wiley, Antonini, Grandone, and Stella Worman all had hits and RBIs, and Lewis and Makaela Pippins both had hits. Fox went all the way in the circle and was credited with the win, throwing her no-hitter, walking two, and striking out six.
Payton Smith was charged with the loss for the Kahoks, going for all four innings, and allowing 19 runs, 16 earned, on 20 hits, walking one and striking out two.
The Tigers are now 23-8, and return home Tuesday to face Highland, then play at Belleville East next Thursday, and play their home regular season finale against East St. Louis on May 12, all games starting at 4:30 p.m.
The Kahoks go to 4-17, and next play at Dupo on Monday, host Alton on Tuesday, and are at East St. Louis next Thursday, with all games starting at 4:30 p.m.
