TROY - The Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce is inviting professionals from across the region to attend a Business Builder Series workshop focused on presenting, networking and leadership skills on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Tri-Township Public Library in Troy, Illinois.

The “Business Builder Series: Presenting, Networking & Leading with Impact Workshop” is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The chamber said the interactive, hands-on format is designed to help participants build confidence, strengthen professional relationships and elevate communication skills in a variety of business settings.

Unlike traditional seminars, the chamber said the event is structured as a working workshop experience. Participants will break into small groups and rotate through focused sessions for real-time practice, feedback and skill-building.

Workshop tracks include presenting, networking and facilitating. The chamber described the presenting track as communicating effectively with clients, leadership and large audiences; the networking track as building confidence and making meaningful connections; and the facilitating track as leading team growth and running effective meetings.

The chamber said attendees will leave with increased confidence in professional settings, practical communication tools and stronger relationship-building strategies.

Speakers listed for the event include Andrew Ambrose, Lisa Phillipson, Tracy Bianco, Wendy Symer, Jeff Koziatek and Dallas Amsden.

Registration is complimentary for investors, with unlimited attendees, according to the chamber. Members pay $25 per company, and non-members pay $25 per person.

The chamber said it is dedicated to supporting local businesses, fostering economic growth and enhancing quality of life in the communities it serves.
