GRANITE CITY - Collinsville’s offense struck early, then delivered a decisive late surge to pull away for a 20-6 nonconference softball win on Thursday, April 23, 2026, over Granite City on the road.

Collinsville scored three runs in each of the first three innings to build a 9-0 lead before Granite City responded with five runs in the bottom of the third to cut the deficit to 9-5 heading into the fourth.

The Lady Kahoks added a run in the fifth to make it 10-5, then broke the game open with 10 runs in the top of the seventh. Granite City scored once in the bottom of the seventh.

Collinsville finished with 21 hits. Freshmen Berlin Hartmann and Aubrey Bordoni tripled. Freshman Audrey Lauenstein, Bordoni and McKenna Trice doubled, along with junior Lilly Paarlberg, and sophomore Preslie Thomas had two doubles. Paarlberg, Trice and Bordoni homered.

Trice drove in five runs, and Bordoni had four RBIs. Bordoni also pitched a complete game, going seven innings and allowing two hits while striking out 13.

For Granite City, Chloe Randolph, Milyn Roehr, and Alexis Ruiz each had hits.
