“Too many seniors are being targeted by increasingly sophisticated scams,” said Rep. Amy Elik. “This seminar is about empowering older adults with the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves. I’m happy to partner with Senator Harriss and the Attorney General’s Office to bring these resources directly to our community”

This seminar will help seniors understand how to recognize potential fraud attempts, learn how to be ready and stop them, and how to use the Attorney General’s Senior Help Line.

“By connecting our seniors with experts who can answer their questions and give them the tools they need to stay one step ahead of scammers, we hope to help them stay informed and protected,” said Senator Erica Harriss. “We encourage all seniors and anyone interested to attend.”

Questions can be directed to Rep. Elik’s District Office at 618-433-8046 or by e-mail at elik@ilhousegop.org.
