On April 16, 2026, the O’Fallon Police Department announced that “Sgt. Waddles” had “welcomed her babies” after “weeks of dedicated nest supervision and what can only be described as very aggressive perimeter patrol.”

The department also reminded people to “maintain a respectful distance, follow all hiss-based directives, and avoid eye contact unless you are prepared for consequences.”

"Please join us in congratulating Sgt. Waddles on the arrival of her recruits!" the O'Fallon Police Department said in jovial fashion.
