For her hard work, Brooke Moran is a Fischer Lumber Student of the Month for East Alton-Wood River High School.

Moran, a senior, has been cheerleading since her freshman year. She works hard to master her cheerleading skills.

She is also a member of the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service, and the Spirit Club. She advocates for others through the Big Sisters program and the Senior Mentors group. Both organizations allow her to mentor and guide younger students.

Outside of school, Moran holds down two part-time jobs and is a manager at one of them. It takes a lot of responsibility and commitment to balance it all, but Moran makes this look easy.

In her free time, she enjoys shopping, driving around, and sipping fun drinks. She knows exactly where she’s heading after graduation, and her teachers and loved ones will be cheering her on.

“I plan on attending Illinois State University for special education,” she shared.

Congratulations to Brooke for this recognition from Fischer Lumber and East Alton-Wood River High School!
