ROXANA - Roxana and Calhoun’s girls battled it out in a competitive game on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Roxana, but the Shells prevailed 10-4 with a 13-hit attack.
Calhoun also knocked out 11 hits, but scored its runs in the fourth (three) and one run in the fifth.

Roxana scored four runs in the first to set the tempo of the game, two in the third, two in the fourth, and two in the fifth.
Kassidy Schuyler was the winning pitcher for Roxana.
Schuyler had three hits. Ava Cherry, Josie Brannon, Lilli Ray and Madison John had two hits each for the Shells. John had three RBI for the Shells; Cherry and Ray had two RBI.
Bralyn Lammy knocked out four hits to lead the Warriors, Mattie Grasle had two hits, Kiera Sievers, Camryn Klaas, Anabel Eilerman had hits, Conley Klocke had two hits.
Layla Longnecker, Eilerman, and Carly Pohlman pitched for the Warriors.
Calhoun plays at East Alton-Wood River at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Roxana, now 7-1, plays at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at Granite City.
