It takes a lot of hard work to balance sports and school, but Karban always makes sure her grades come first. She puts her best effort into everything she does, and often excels during both games and practices.

She was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, which requires high grades and many hours of community service. Karban is proud to have maintained high honor roll status throughout her four years of high school. She also regularly volunteers at her church.

When she isn’t busy with school or her extracurriculars, Karban works a part-time job and plays club volleyball and club soccer. She also enjoys reading, working out, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

She knows exactly what she wants to do after high school. Just like they do during her games, her teachers and loved ones will be cheering her on.

“[I plan to] attend WKU and major in nursing,” she shared.

Congratulations to Katelyn for this recognition from Althoff Catholic High School!
