Friday morning starts off partly sunny with a bitterly cold temperature near 8 degrees and a north wind at 9 mph gusting as high as 17 mph. The cold continues through the day with mostly cloudy skies and a high only around 10 degrees. Winds pick up from the north at 15 mph with gusts near 30 mph, making it feel bitterly cold. By evening, expect frigid conditions with light snow flurries arriving toward dawn, dropping up to an inch of snow and continuing overnight. Temperatures will dip to a low of 1 degree, with wind chills making it feel as cold as 14 below zero.

A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect until noon Saturday, warning of dangerously cold wind chills between 15 and 25 below zero. Snowfall from before dawn Friday into early Sunday afternoon will total 4-8 inches. Travel could be very difficult or even impossible at times due to the snow. Use caution and dress warmly if you need to be outside.

Saturday remains frigid with intermittent snow, accumulating 2 to 4 inches. Highs will reach near 11 degrees with lows around 7 degrees. Snow may cause slippery roads and sidewalks, especially untreated surfaces.

Sunday continues with cold temperatures and light snow or flurries at times, adding a coating to an inch. Expect a high near 12 degrees and a low near minus 5 degrees. Winds from the north will keep it bitterly cold.
