WOOD RIVER — Chestnut Health Systems™ invites the community to attend an Open House at its new Wood River location, 337 E. Ferguson Ave., Wood River, on Thursday, November 13 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. This event celebrates the opening of Chestnut’s newest facility in Madison County, offering residents the chance to tour the building, meet staff, and learn more about the comprehensive behavioral health and primary care services available to the community.

“We’re excited to expand our presence in Madison County and to continue providing comprehensive, compassionate care close to home,” said Amy Gibbar, vice president of Integrated Care at Chestnut. “This new space allows us to better serve individuals and families in the Wood River area with a range of behavioral health and primary care services.”

Chestnut’s Wood River location offers a welcoming environment and a variety of services to support
whole-person care, including:

  • Behavioral Health Services: Individual and group counseling and ongoing recovery support to help clients manage mental health conditions.
  • Primary Care: Preventative care, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and wellness education during specified hours.
  • Community Support Services: Assistance with care coordination, housing, employment, and other recovery supports.

Chestnut’s team of professionals work closely with clients to provide compassionate, individualized care.

The Wood River team looks forward to connecting with community members, healthcare partners, and local leaders during this special event. Light refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome to attend.
