eet invites you to join the fun at the Downtown Alton Chili Cook-Off\,
RAIN OR SHINE &ndash\; on the beautiful patio at FLOCK Food Truck Par
k & Bar!\n\nLive music from Psychedelic Symphony from 12-3!\n\nThe Chi
li Cook-Off is a great civic event that encourages local chili chefs (
both amateur & professional) to match their favorite recipe with other
s in similar categories in this fiery competition.\n\nTickets will onl
y be available at the door: $10.00 for adults & $5.00 for kids 12 & un
der. Your ticket gets you a sample of chili from each team.\n\nJudges 
will award $100 prizes to winners in 4 categories: Individual\, Organi
zation\, Business\, and Restaurant. The team chosen as &ldquo\;People&
rsquo\;s Choice&rdquo\; will receive the coveted silver ladle and brag
ging rights. In addition to awards for the best chili\, we are also gi
ving a $100 prize for the best-decorated booth\, so come prepared to p
ut your theme as well as your chili on display!\n\nTeams can choose an
electric set-up (crock pot\, roaster\, etc.) or a gas set-up (propane
