The Alton Community Service League (ACSL) is sponsoring its second annual Swing Dance/Concert on April 11, 2026, at the Alton VFW Post 1308. This year’s theme is “Swing Into Spring”, featuring the Steve Shininger Swing Band. Appetizers will be catered by Nicky G’s Italian Eats, and a cash bar will be available. A silent auction will be held, along with a “Wheelbarrow of Wine” raffle. Two of the featured silent auction items will be a “Bouquet of Gift Cards” and a “Garden of Scratch off” tickets.
All proceeds will benefit recipients of the League’s community grant program. This event is ACSL’s largest fundraiser for the year and replaces the discontinued “Community Christmas Gift Wrap” fundraiser.
