2024 Prairietown Homecoming and Parade

The 2024 Prairietown Homecoming and Parade invites everyone to join in the festivities for a weekend full of fun and community spirit. This year’s theme, "The Roaring '20s," sets the stage for a vibrant celebration benefiting the Prairietown Volunteer Fire Department.
Event Highlights:
Friday Night: The festivities kick off with live music from Whiskey River at 7 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a night of music and entertainment as they gather with friends and neighbors.
Saturday Parade: The highlight of the weekend, the parade, begins at 6 p.m. Participants can enjoy a lively procession featuring floats, tractors, walkers, horses, and classic cars. The parade has no registration or sign-up fee, allowing everyone to join. Participants are encouraged to meet at Prairietown Feed Service at 5:15 p.m. for line-up and judging.
Saturday Evening Festivities: Following the parade, the fairgrounds come alive with carnival rides, bingo, delicious food, and drinks. Live music by Shotgun Creek will keep the energy high from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
This annual event promises a weekend of enjoyment for all ages, with carnival attractions, live music, and a strong sense of community. Visitors are encouraged to support the Prairietown Volunteer Fire Department by participating in and enjoying the event.
