The Annual Shipman Picnic will occur this weekend, beginning Friday, July 19. Friday evening will kick off with the introduction of the Grand Marshal, a tribute to the Kitchen Klatter Band with a surprise performance by the Shipman Shockettes, and the Inaugural Little Miss Shipman pageant. We are adding a little bit each year, celebrating many upgrades in the community from the park pavilion to the Shipman Fire Station, as well as the new Dollar General. We continue to grow because of community spirit and volunteerism.
