Loy Miller Talley, PC, a growing CPA firm in Alton, Illinois, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accountant to join our team!
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented accounting professional with public accounting experience who enjoys working directly with clients, taking ownership of assignments, and being part of a collaborative team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work with a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients, providing a variety of accounting and tax services, including:
Perform general bookkeeping, payroll processing, and account reconciliations.
Conduct audit, review, and compilation engagements.
Prepare financial statements and related reports.
Prepare individual and business income tax returns.
Communicate directly with clients to address accounting and financial needs.
Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and exceptional client service.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher.
1or more years of public accounting or CPA firm experience.
Experience with tax preparation, financial statements, and general accounting functions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and client service skills.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
