Among the team’s top finishers, Raelynn Sievers was named High Varsity Female in Conference 2. Carson Sievers earned HOA, or High Overall, and High Varsity Male honors after shooting 100 straight targets and winning the championship in a shoot-off.
The tournament brought together competitors in the Illinois State High School Clay Target League’s 2A division, where Golden Eagle athletes turned in a strong performance.

The Golden Eagle Youth Trap Team coaches praised the group’s effort in a statement.
“Great job to all of our shooters on a fantastic season and a strong showing at the state tournament,” the coaches said. “We are proud of your hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship!”
