“Illinois should be a state where businesses can grow, manufacturers can thrive, and workers can find good-paying jobs without having to leave to find opportunity,” said Elik. “I will continue working to reduce unnecessary regulations, promote fiscal responsibility, and create an environment where employers want to invest and expand right here in Illinois. I’m proud to have the support of these organizations as we work to get our state’s economy back on track.”
The Illinois Chamber of Commerce touted Representative Elik’s record as a champion for Illinois businesses in their endorsement.
“The Illinois Chamber of Commerce PAC, representing thousands of businesses of every size and sector across the Land of Lincoln, is proud to endorse Amy Elik for the office of Illinois House of Representatives in District 111,” said Illinois Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jimmy Clayton. “Representative Elik has been a steadfast champion for Illinois businesses in Springfield and the Illinois Chamber of Commerce believes she is best suited to continue representing the residents and businesses of District 111 in the 105th General Assembly.”
The General Election is on November 3rd. Early voting is currently underway at the Madison County Clerk's Office. Expanded early voting begins October 19th across Madison County.
