The Major Case Squad was called in to assist with the investigation. A motive for the shooting was not provided.

Lt. Jared Fravell of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is serving as deputy commander for the activation. The squad’s command post is at the Madison Fire Department.

Investigators are urging anyone who attended the heavily attended game to provide information, photos, or video.

“Someone in that crowd saw something, recorded something, or has heard something since. We are asking those people to come forward,” said Lt.
