Godfrey Fall Festival: Corn Maze, Highland Cows, Food Trucks and Family Activities
GODFREY - The Village of Godfrey will host their annual Fall Festival this weekend, complete with kids’ activities, food trucks, Highland cows and more.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2026, community members can stop by Glazebrook Park to enjoy the festival and the Great Godfrey Maze. Director of Parks and Recreation Chris Logan and Economic Developer Jim Mager shared their excitement to bring people together and celebrate the community.
“We’re really happy to do this,” Logan said. “That’s what we’re trying to do, trying to promote family-friendly events that are safe and fun for anyone to come out and enjoy in our community.”
The festival will feature vendors and food trucks throughout the day. Kids’ games and activities are completely free to enjoy. Bebe and Nerdy will offer face-painting and balloon art. Mager will provide music from 2–4 p.m. at the park.
Logan and Mager are most excited to welcome the Highland cows from 1:30–4:30 p.m. These cows will be available for petting and pictures. Logan said the cows are “really cute” but joked that no one can take the cows home with them, as tempting as it might be.
The Great Godfrey Maze will also be open throughout the day, along with all of its regular attractions including the cow train, corn crib, and inflatables. Read this article on RiverBender.com for more information about the maze, attractions and pricing.
While the maze and attractions will be open every weekend through October, Mager and Logan emphasized that the Fall Festival is a great day to come out and enjoy everything they have to offer at the park this season. They added that the goal of the festival and the Great Godfrey Maze is to continue a tradition and bring people together.
“There’s a rich history to the corn maze and the Fall Festival. I’ve been playing music out there probably since it was started,” Mager said. “What’s important to me is the quality of life, things for the residents to do. One of the things that we're wanting to do in terms of the village is, we are wanting to create an environment for younger families. A lot of our population is getting more mature, but we want to create this environment so that people with kids and younger families have things to do. The Parks and Rec Department, Chris and his staff, do a great job of that.”
The duo also thanked Mayor Mike McCormick and the Board of Trustees for their support of these events. They noted that it wouldn’t be possible without everybody’s hard work in the Parks and Recreation Department and beyond.
Logan and Mager are eager to share this work with the community. They hope to welcome a big crowd this weekend from across the Riverbend region.
“We’ll be looking forward to seeing everybody out,” Mager added. “You don’t have to be from Godfrey. Come from Alton, Fosterburg, Jerseyville, wherever. We’ll be looking for you.”
