JERSEYVILLE — Jersey Community Unit School District No. 100 announced that Cali Breden has earned a spot on the 2026 Illinois Athletic Directors Association All-State Team, an honor that recognizes senior student-athletes for athletics, academics, leadership, and community service.

Cali BredenBreden is also a 2026 JCHS Illinois State Scholar. Breden is a Sparklight Female Athlete of the Month for Jersey.

Athlete of the Month is sponsored by

Breden, a senior student-athlete, is averaging nearly 10 points per game for the Panthers and 2.5 steals per game. She is also a 65% free-throw shooter.

The Illinois Athletic Directors Association All-State Team is distinct from, but similar to, the IHSA All-State Academic Team, according to the information provided by the district. The selection criteria for the IADA All-State Team focus on athletic achievements, leadership, character, and academics.

Nominees must be seniors and must have participated in at least two IHSA sports during each of the last two years. Honorees are recognized at the IADA State Conference.
