ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Terrell Jackson, 22, of Florissant, Mo., has been charged with second-degree murder and other felonies following a head-on crash that killed two passengers and injured two St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officers, authorities said Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026.

The charges include:

  • Two counts of Murder 2nd Degree - Felony Murder - During Perpetration/Attempted Perpetration/Flight from Perpetration of a Felony, a Person Dies

  • Two counts of Assault – 2nd Degree – Special Victim

  • Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention – Results in Death

The charges were announced by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on January 27, 2026. He is being held on a $1 million cash-only bond.

The incident occurred on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, when Jackson was driving a silver Audi and fleeing police at excessive speeds, according to the probable cause statement. The pursuit began after officers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by a Black male suspected of a drug offense in the City of St. Louis. That individual fled, switching vehicles twice before entering the Audi with Jackson, who continued to evade law enforcement.

Jackson reportedly drove the Audi the wrong way on the ramp from Interstate 170 southbound onto Interstate 40 eastbound in St. Louis County. The vehicle collided head-on with a police car carrying two St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officers, who suffered broken bones and were hospitalized.

The two passengers in the Audi, identified as Donavan Harris, 21, of St. Louis, and Anthony Doss, 23, of Black Jack, Missouri, died in the crash.

The investigation is being handled by the St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives.

Authorities emphasized that charges are accusations and that Jackson is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
