EDWARDSVILLE — Edwardsville School District #7 announced on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, that Monday, Jan. 26, will be an E-Learning day due to current weather conditions, prioritizing the safety of students and staff. All district buildings and offices will be closed, but students will continue their education remotely following the district’s eLearning plan.
The district advised families to have students restart their devices before the school day to ensure all updates are installed and devices are ready for use.

In addition, all after-school and evening Edwardsville School District 7 activities scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, are canceled.
The Edwardsville School Board of Education meeting originally set for Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, has been postponed to the following Monday, Feb. 2, 2026.
To assist families in preparing for the eLearning day, principals will send their weekly newsletters at 1 p.m. on Sunday instead of the usual 5 p.m. distribution time.
The district expressed appreciation for families’ flexibility and partnership during the change and encouraged everyone to stay safe and warm.
