JERSEYVILLE — Roger E. Page, 63, was charged Nov. 5, 2025, with Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver 15 to 100 grams of Methamphetamine, a Class X felony, Jersey County State’s Attorney Ben Goetten has announced.

If convicted, Page faces six to 30 years in prison.
The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 4, 2025, when Jersey County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Marshall Lewis was investigating a reckless driver on Illinois State Highway 16 near Casey’s General Store in Jerseyville. During the investigation, Deputy Lewis contacted Page and established probable cause to search his vehicle.
With assistance from Deputy Jeff Klunk, the deputies searched Page’s vehicle and discovered more than one ounce of suspected crystal methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.
Page’s vehicle was towed, and he was arrested and then cited. He was later released under the provisions of the Illinois SAFET-T Act.
Page is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
